Changing your TRECA Email Password (PMDF Email)

To change the password used to access your account, complete and submit this form. Complete directions are given below. Once your password has successfully been changed, you will need to switch to using that new password in order to access your mail messages stored on the POP server. See the Password Notes below to determine whether your new password will be accepted by the system.

Directions

Follow these steps precisely to change your password:

  1. Enter your new password in the New Password field.

  2. Enter your new password in the New Password (again) field for verification.

  3. Click on the "Change Password" button.

  4. Your browser will then present you with an authentication window. You must enter your username (without the "@treca.org" part) and your current password (do not enter your new password in this window).

Password Notes

  1. Password must be atleast 8 characters long.
  2. Your new password can not be one you have used in the past 12 months.
  3. Password cannot be a common dictionary word (ie, software, password, etc.).
  4. Password cannot be a common name (ie, stephanie).
  5. You can combine dictionary or names with other letters or numbers (ie, software12 or stephaniesue).
